Story
My name is Marie. Passionate about sewing since my teenage years, I first worked for fifteen years as a special education worker supporting young people with intellectual disabilities, before choosing to transition into a manual profession. I obtained a CAP Métiers de la Mode – Couture Flou and made sewing my professional activity.
Today, I work as a seamstress and creator, with an approach focused on repairing and restoring garments. I work with reclaimed materials, including sourced sheets and blankets, fabric offcuts, and previously worn clothing. I am especially committed to repairing pieces that carry sentimental value. In this spirit, I am certified by Refashion, allowing access to the repair bonus program.
I mainly carry out zipper replacements, repairs of holes or torn seams, as well as resizing and garment adjustments. Each intervention is performed with care, precision, and respect for the garment, while taking into account your expectations and the story behind each piece.
Before any repair, I take the time to define the most suitable solution. Each garment is handled with attention and high standards, to give it a lasting second life.
