Story
I have been a saddler and leather artisan for 13 years. I completed a demanding three-year training program with the Compagnons du Devoir in Épône-Mézières, where I studied general saddlery, including marine, aeronautical, and automotive upholstery, before specializing in leather goods. My final year was completed through an apprenticeship at the Hermès workshops in Pantin, where I worked as a saddler-leather artisan.
I then spent eight years working at the Hermès workshops in Pantin, at the heart of the house’s manufacturing, innovation, and development of specific models. This experience allowed me to develop a high level of technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of luxury craftsmanship standards.
I naturally turned toward repair and restoration, with the goal of extending the life of exceptional pieces while respecting their original design and construction. My core expertise is the technical repair of high-end and luxury leather goods, including the creation or replacement of straps, handles, and shoulder straps, interior linings, base reinforcements, piping, side attachments, and leather components, as well as premium finishes such as polished edge dyeing and traditional saddle stitching by hand.
I also offer care and maintenance services, including cleaning, refreshing or recoloring, filling small holes, and localized restoration. Each intervention is carried out with the highest level of precision and respect for the materials and techniques used by luxury houses.
Every piece entrusted to me is treated with the same level of care and excellence as during its original creation.
